All of our jewelry is made of high quality 14k gold filled metal!
14K gold-filled metal is a high-quality, durable alternative to solid gold, made by bonding a thick layer of 14-karat gold to a base metal (usually brass) through heat and pressure. Unlike gold plating, which has a thin gold layer that can wear off quickly, gold-filled jewelry contains at least 5% real gold by weight, making it significantly more long-lasting and tarnish-resistant.
Gold-filled pieces have the look and feel of solid gold but at a more affordable price. With proper care, they can last for many years without fading or flaking, making them a great option for everyday wear.

Gold-filled jewelry is hypoallergenic because the outer layer is made of thick 14K gold, which is gentle on sensitive skin.
14K gold is mostly pure gold fewer amounts of other metals. This ensures that your skin is primarily exposed to gold, which is a hypoallergenic metal. This makes gold-filled jewelry a great option for people with sensitive skin who want affordable, high-quality jewelry that lasts!

Some of my earlier earring designs use hoops that can be a little tricky to click closed. If your earring isn’t clicking shut, you may need to make a small adjustment from time to time! You can follow this guide here.
If it’s still not clicking shut, feel free to reach out to me and I can replace the hoop with one that is easier to wear!

Yes! Gold-filled jewelry is durable and, with proper care, can last a lifetime. But if not taken care of properly can tarnish over time. Gold-filled jewelry is safe to wear in the ocean so you can feel free to swim, surf, or enjoy the beach. Although gold fill metal contains brass and sometimes copper, which can react with salt and moisture. That’s why it’s super important to rinse your jewelry with fresh water after a swim in the ocean or pool.
If you notice any greenish marks forming, don’t worry—it’s just surface tarnish. Gently brush the area under running water using a soft toothbrush or use a toothpick to clean hard-to-reach spots
I also recommend avoiding chlorine. pools and hot tubs can be harsh on the gold layer over time. To keep your jewelry shining, try to avoid strong chemicals like chlorine, perfumes, and lotions. With a little care, your pieces will stay beautiful for years!
